Over 30 Years of Guiding Students with Creativity and Care

Melissa Martin is an educator at heart who deeply loves teaching, motivating, and encouraging students of all ages. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Toledo and is certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade in the state of Ohio.

Mrs. Martin was employed in the Sylvania School system for 28 years where she taught a variety of grade levels including kindergarten, third, fourth, and sixth. Her area of specialization is Reading and Language Arts, and she strives to impart a love of books and reading to children.

Currently, Mrs. Martin is an educator at LEAP Homeschool CO-OP and works with students as a private tutor. Using her gift of teaching, she inspires children to find joy in learning, which brings her great fulfillment. She thrives on finding innovative ways to educate students and help them grow both personally and academically.
